• Sandbagging: Intentionally losing to lower your rating for easier opponents.
• Stalling: Deliberately delaying games or wasting time.

Violations may result in warnings, rating adjustments, temporary bans, or permanent account termination.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
• Use offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate usernames or content.
• Spam, advertise, or promote external services without permission.
• Attempt to hack, exploit, or disrupt the Service.
• Impersonate other users or Chess Junction staff.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Chess Junction, including but not limited to logos, design, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Chess Junction or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (game annotations, blog posts, comments, etc.), but grant Chess Junction a non-exclusive license to display and use this content on the platform. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

9. Disclaimers

Chess Junction is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not responsible for any loss of data, ratings, or other information.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chess Junction shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

In compliance with the Geo-blocking Regulation (EU) 2018/302, Chess Junction does not discriminate between users within the European Union (EU) based on their nationality, place of residence, or place of establishment.
